The Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India vide letter
F.No. 8-35/2020-SP-III dated 31 March 2022 has granted recognition to Cerebral Palsy Sports Federation of India (CPSFI) as National Sports Federation (NSF). 

 

CPSFI is the fourth disability sports federation in India to be recognised as a NSF. 

 

With this recognition, CPSFI has the mandate to promote and develop  sports for persons with cerebral palsy in India.

 

CP Sports has been placed in the ‘Priority’ category by the ministry.
