Rajesh Tomar, IRS (retd)

CPSFI is led by Mr Rajesh Tomar, graduate from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
He is also the Advisory Board Member, CPISRA. Mr Tomar has contributed to the field of sports and para sports extensively and thereby has a fabulous association with sports persons.

Having been a National athlete himself, he understands the need for sports and opportunities for an athlete. He switched to contributing for para sports in the last decade. He feels the need for contribution to developing para sports especially for the cerebral palsy athletes in India. He believes the lives of CP athletes can be changed by creating opportunities for them.

     Vice-President, Asian Paralympic Committee (2014-19)

     President, Paralympic Committee of India (2014-15)

     Leader of delegation Asian Para Games Incheon, 2014

     Chef de Mission of the Indian team at FESPIC Games, Kuala Lumpur, 2006 
     & Asian Para Games, Guangzhou 2010.

     In the bid committee of IOA for Asian Games.

     Member of the administrative team of Olympic, Asian, Common Wealth Games

     Leader of Sports Presentation Committee, Commonwealth Games, 2010

     Associate Vice President of Athletic Federation of India

     Member of Selection Committee of Athletic Federation of India (1987-1996)

     Deputy Director of TEAMS Wing, Sports Authority of India, 1987-1992

     Administrator, Sports Authority of India.
